Weds 5:30am

been so chilly... just enjoyed reading Lucy's blog from Dijon France... called Murray State cause I ddin't know where Lucy was and I spoke to a nice young sounding history professor... he and his wife had to leave town cause of the cold weather... they just got back to campus... I think they went to stay with relatives for a week... found that Dijon has a NOTRE DAME cathedral...

the cold just makes me want to hibernate... to snack and drink and read... walked around a little today and did a few chores... seems like so much going on I don't write about... I went by a Humane Society thrift store... the manager has a greyhound walking around... skinny dog... not unfriendly but not really overly friendly... LOUD bark tho... guess they have big lung capacity...

a friend came by to visit me...

cold weather is for reading... back to ANGELS n DEMONS... I need to find the antimatter in the Vatican...

--------------

forgot to ad that I just read the OBIT of the founder of Habitat for Humanity... interesting that I mentioned recycling and buying everything used on my ANGELS n DEMONS blog from Monday... Habitat has RESALE stores everywhere... I wonder what percentage of transactions are now used goods... what percent are recycled and reused goods... interesting economics to think about our affluent society... the way conventional store sales have plummetted... makes me think about the "MARGIN"... marginal sales, marginal jobs etc...
